Tyner Road Medical Centre brings over 30 years of experience in the Wantirna area dedicated to supporting medical practitioners.
We are committed to providing the highest quality of support to the practitioners consulting from the Centre.
Each of the practitioners we support provide medical care to their patients by delivering ethical, consistent, timely and comprehensive medical care, encompassing family medicine, emergency care and preventative health strategies.
To achieve this, we provide the practitioners we support with a modern medical centre wherethey can make their patient’s welfare their priority.

New Patients
Please call reception to make an appointment with your practitioner, then simply click the button below to complete the form. Once submitted, all the hard work is done and your new practitioner will be provided with that information.

It is the practice of the practitioners we support that no drugs of addiction will be prescribed on an initial visit.

Billing + Fees
The billing and fees are all set by your practitioner and any adjustments are at the discretion of your practitioner.
For billing and fee enquiries, please ask your practitioner during your consultation or enquire with our administration team who can speak to your practitioner and pass on that information.
The practitioners we support bill Health Care Card Holders at a reduced rate.
They also bulk-bill Pension Card Holders, DVA Card Holders and children under the age of 16 throughout the week.
Saturday consultations with your practitioner incur fees for ALL patients.
Tuesday and Thursday 6pm to 8pm consultations with your practitioner incur fees for ALL patients.
Concession Card Holders and children will incur a reduced fee on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm to 8pm.
Depending on your appointment type/length and any extras involved with your consultation, fees may vary.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please speak to your doctor at the beginning of your consultation.

If you would like a telehealth consultation,
please call reception and we will enquire whether your practitioner provides this service and whether you meet the required Medicare criteria prior to scheduling your appointment with your practitioner.
This will help avoid any confusion and possible non-rebatable appointments as Medicare has changed the criteria for telehealth billing.
